FERC Pushes Back Environmental Review of Jordan Cove Energy Project

FERC released a revised schedule for its environmental review of the proposed Jordan Cove Energy Project, an LNG export terminal at Coos Bay, Ore., and the Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline, the interconnected pipeline.  Due to the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management’s request for additional information regarding an alternative pipeline route affecting its lands, FERC has pushed back the date for issuance of its Final Environmental Impact Study from June 12, 2015 to September 30, 2015.  Other federal agencies having jurisdiction over the projects now have until December 29, 2015 to complete their review.
