B.C. Government Announces Agreement for Petronas LNG Terminal

The Globe and Mail reports that the British Columbia government has signed a project development agreement with Pacific NorthWest LNG (PNW LNG), a joint venture led by Malaysian state oil company Petronas.  The agreement provides the steps needed for development of the PNW LNG export terminal on Lelu Island, near Prince Rupert, B.C.  According to the report, the agreement is subject to approval later this year from the B.C. legislature.
