E.ON Global Commodities Enters Into Pipeline and Shipping Agreements Related to Freeport LNG Terminal

Two E.ON Global Commodities entities announced that they have entered into agreements for pipeline capacity to serve the proposed Freeport LNG export terminal on Quintana Island, near Freeport, Texas, and for shipping capacity to export LNG from the Freeport terminal.  E.ON Global Commodities North America LLC has entered into a 20-year precedent agreement for capacity on Gulf South Pipeline’s proposed Coastal Bend Header Project to provide gas to the Freeport terminal.  E.ON Global Commodities SE has entered into a 20-year agreement with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. for shipping capacity of up to two LNG vessels for off-take of approximately 800,000 tons/year of LNG sourced from U.S. Gulf Coast liquefaction projects, including the Freeport terminal.
