U.S. House Passes Bill to Expedite U.S. LNG Exports

Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 351, the LNG Permitting Certainty and Transparency Act, by a bipartisan vote of 277-133.  The bill, among other things, requires the U.S. Department of Energy to issue a final decision on LNG export applications within 30 days following the conclusion of the National Environmental Policy Act review of the related LNG facilities.  Read more in The Hill article.
