NEB Approves Woodside Energy LNG Export License

The Canadian National Energy Board (NEB), which monitors Canada’s gas supply and demand, determined the quantity of gas to be exported by Woodside Energy Pty Ltd. (Woodside) is surplus to Canadian needs and approved Woodside’s application for a license to export 1,022 Bcf per year of LNG over 20 years from a proposed LNG terminal in the vicinity of Grassy Point, north of Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
