Yesterday the Jamestown, R.I., Town Council hosted a Congress of Councils to discuss local communities' concerns with the planned Weaver's Cove LNG import project. A number of federal, state, and local officials spoke at the event, including U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.). The Jamestown Press offers coverage of the event.
